PLYNYL® TILE is an engineered product designed for heavy commercial use. It's made up of Chilewich's signature woven vinyl fabrics bonded to a heavy-duty commercial backing. The tile has been granted a US Patent (#US 7,326,661 B2) for its innovative components.

Plynyl Tile was recently awarded Green Label Plus certification and can earn LEED points with its installation. Plynyl Tile has been tested and conforms to all national and international standards for dimensional stability, stain resistance and durability.

Tiles are 18" square and can be laid in any pattern desired, all in one direction, in a "basket weave" or quarter-turned. Different colors and styles can be combined to create any pattern desired.

Plynyl Tile installations require a clean, dry and smooth subfloor. Tile should be installed with a full spread of releasable adhesive, which allows easy replacement of a tile should it be necessary to change one.

The tile is easy to maintain—vacuum and damp mop for most applications.
